Washington Oaks Garden State Park is approx. 1 1/2 hour drive from Orlando and 3o minutes from St. Augustine. The gardens are breathtaking with many spots for beautiful photos. What is even better is that across the gardens they also have a beach area. Weddings can take place in the gardens or on the beach. The maximum of guests allowed in the garden is 50 including vendors like photographers, officiants, etc.
This is one of our favorite gardens in Florida. There are not many parks that feature both, a beach and garden setting. It makes this place truly special as you can have wedding photos taken at the beach and in the park no matter where your ceremony takes place. This one spot setting makes Washington Oaks Garden very unique indeed.
Some areas the garden features are a rose garden with a wooden trellis/arch, a quite large pond with a wooden gazebo, beautiful grassy areas, and a well-maintained landscape with bridges, waterways, and fountains, flowers, and very old trees.
A bridal changing room and picnic areas are available with an additional rental fee. No alcohol is allowed in public parks in Florida.
Wedding Permit
Washington Oaks Gardens requires a wedding permit. The Washington Oaks Garden wedding package includes a rental fee for up to 50 people.

Decoration
Decoration of the ceremony area including guest seating is not included in the package price. All decorations will be priced on your wishes. Some examples are wedding arches, ground arches with flowers, lanterns or battery-operated candles, aisle decoration, and more. Please contact us for your specific wishes.
There is no food or drinks allowed at the ceremony location.
Marriage Certificate & Shipping
Certified copies of the marriage certificate will be shipped via USPS for clients within the US. USPS shipments are included in the package price. For customers from overseas, Fed Ex International shipping charges will apply and are not included in the package price. We won’t ship documents to International destinations with regular mail because paperwork cannot be tracked.
Optional services within the package
If you are booking the wedding package for a vow renewal, commitment ceremony, or other celebration of Love we will deduct $100 for the license.
If you are not using our wedding officiant we deduct $100 from the package price.
If you wish your wedding ceremony at the beach and not in the garden please refer to our beach wedding packages. The rental fee will also apply to weddings on the beach.
Additional Services
All our wedding packages can be custom arranged to fit your wishes and needs. The maximum amount of guests allowed in the garden or on the beach is 50 in total.
- Add professional photography by Nautilus Studio. We are suggesting a 1.5-hour to 2-hour photo package for this location if beach photos are also requested.
