Wedding packages that already include paperwork will be adjusted accordingly. You will also receive a decorative Certificate of Commitment.

What is a Commitment Ceremony?

Commitment Ceremonies are alternative celebrations for couples who are already married, cannot, or do not wish to legally marry. It is a public affirmation of a couple’s commitment to each other. A celebration of love without boundaries or legalities and otherwise just like a regular wedding.

Why couples choose a Florida Commitment Ceremony?

For instance, maybe you just recently got married and could not have the wedding of your dreams. Or life threw some curveballs at you and the large wedding you planned turned into a courthouse quickly. Maybe you always dreamed about a beach wedding, but don’t live close to a beach and family was not willing to travel. Difficult family or personal situations may make it impossible to legally marry. And let’s not forget couples who plainly don’t want to legally marry. There are plenty of reasons why couples celebrate a  commitment ceremony in Florida instead of a traditional legally binding wedding.

Our Commitment ceremonies are available at all locations including chapels and gardens. If you want to keep it super simple we can do that too!

Your Florida commitment ceremony may be held non-denominational, spiritual, or the wording of your choice. As with all of our ceremonies you may write your own vows and include family, children, or friends into your celebration.

Since your wedding will not be legally binding you can also choose a friend or family member to officiate or skip the officiant and just say vows to each other.  Options are plentiful just like with any regular wedding and we are looking forward to helping you with your celebration of love.
